We get angry for different reasons: traffic, extended meetings, or slow Internet connection.

If we can get angry at the slightest problems, how come we don’t get angry at malnutrition?

Malnutrition is lack of proper nutrition caused by not eating enough healthy food. It presents irreversible effects on kids’ health like stunted growth and wasting. But it isn’t just about that. Malnutrition also cripples our economy and robs us of a bright future. Enough is enough!

With 3 out of 10 Filipino kids already malnourished, isn’t it time we do something about this?
Time to get #HangryAboutHunger!

We refuse to let malnutrition win. United for Healthier Kids (U4HK) launches the #HANGRYaboutHUNGER campaign to get everyone to act against malnutrition.
It’s not as hard as you think.

8 years old, Legazpi City, Albay.

Gretchen tried Cedrick’s daily meal.

Ito si Dexter Telmoso.
8 years old, Talisay City.

Malabnaw na lugaw ang madalas niyang kinakain. Kakayanin mo rin kaya ito?

Kim tried Dexter's daily meal.

Ito si Vanessa Sejulila.
10 years old, Tagum City.

Gerald tried Vanessa’s daily meal.

Meet Kath.

Project PEARLS volunteer 2012.

"For more than three years that I've been with Project PEARLS, I saw the passion brought by every volunteer to each kid. I truly appreciate the tireless effort and even the distance is not an issue. Sharing of talents, knowledge and especially the time is really very special. Whenever you are with them you really feel the love and hope. You will feel that this is not just an organization but an extraordinary family. It really changed my life. Simple smiles of the children we helped are worthy as a price for a volunteer like me and this reminds me that I have been their Hero for that day!"

Namulat. Nagalit. Nag-volunteer.
